Introduction to business methodology
Teams will introduce themselves after an intensive pitch training session, followed by two deep-dive sessions on business methodology.
September 8th
Mentor matchmaking
Business methodology training continues, followed by a progress update by the teams and a matchmaking session with commercial and engineering experts.
September 9th
Expert sessions
Teams are introduced to the healthcare sector stakeholder landscape, followed by expert matchmaking sessions with commercial and engineering experts and a panel on the revolutionary potential of agile healthcare innovation. By the end of the day startups will submit the names of two sponsors.
September 10th
Progress update
Startups alternate between pitch training and an advisory board meeting, followed by investor meetings with the Capital Community cohort and office hours with the HVL team.

Business methodology training
Teams will introduce themselves after an intensive pitch training session, followed by two deep-dive sessions on business methodology.
September 29th
Mentoring sessions
Business methodology training continues, followed by a progress update by the teams and mentoring session and coach office hours.
September 30th
Expert sessions
Teams check-in with expert sponsors and receive an introduction to the Edison platform. Expert session topics include preparing for clinical trials, managing healthcare data, regulatory approvals and running a pilot project in a hospital. Everyone participates in an intensive open Q&A with the mentors and presenters, followed by a delivery update.
October 1st

Startups alternate between pitch training and an advisory board meeting, followed by investor meetings with a Capital Community delegate and office hours with the HVL team.

Teams check-in with expert sponsors and learn best development practices from the GE Healthcare software engineering team. Expert session topics include building a distribution network, managing healthcare data, regulatory approvals and healthcare marketing best practices. Everyone participates in a training on SWOT analysis for healthcare companies.
October 29th
Progress update
Startups alternate between pitch training and an advisory board meeting, followed by investor meetings with a Capital Community delegate and office hours with the HVL team.

Expert sessions
Teams check-in with expert sponsors followed by a presentation on healthcare markets in Europe vs the US. Expert sessions topics include contracting with hospitals, strategies and best practices for protecting your IP, and understanding hospital internal processes. Sessions wrap with a Capital Community presentation on funding a research-intensive venture.
November 18th
Pitch training
Teams prepare for Demo Day pitches.
November 19th
Internal pitch day
Teams alternate between investor meetings and office hours with the HVL team. In the evening the internal pitch competition is streamed.
