One-on-one Interviews

We invite a shortlisted set of startups for a personal, online interview to discuss their motivation in joining the program and to understand the team dynamic. This is also a great opportunity for applicants to ask specific questions about the program.

24th of March 2019 - 31st of March 2019

Decision made and Contracting

After the second round our expert panel shortlist the winning teams. Both the form application and the one-on-one interviews count towards your results. Once we sent out the invitation email we start contracting with you, to make the Launch of the program smoother.

Submission of Goal & Metric

You have to define a metric that help you, the mentors and the HVL Team track your progress.

Mentor meetings and matchmaking

At the end of this period both the participating startups and the mentors send in their three preferences and we make the best possible match for the batch.

Demo Days

Your perfect pitch

Preparation for DemoDay

Through two intensive days you will conclude the 6 month training you had with your pitch trainer.

16th of October 2019 - 17th of October 2019

Preselection

You will pitch in front of a dedicated audience of industry and academic experts, as well as VCs and Angels Investors.

17th of October 2019

HVL Expo

During the final day you will exhibit your product and your progress that you made in the last six month. This is a great opportunity to expose your business to a large support network and find new partnerships, investment or a future member of your team.

18th of October 2019

Pitch Competition

The program ends with a bang, that is the final pitch competition. 8 shortlisted startups pitch during a media open event, in front of an interdisciplinary jury.
